How we maintain this site
What “verified” means
We confirmed the link worked and the organization still exists under that name and still publishes that material. It does not mean we checked the rules themselves.
Check schedule
Links are checked on a regular schedule, and the results are recorded on each entry. Sites that block automated checks are checked by hand; until then an entry shows “Not yet verified” rather than a made-up time.
What we check, and what we do not
- We check whether each link still works, whether the organization has been renamed, merged or retired, and whether a source page shows a change tied to something printed in the books.
- We do not read, summarize or report on laws, rules, cases or guidance, and we do not look for new laws in places the books do not cover.
How changes are approved
Apart from the “last verified” time, every change to published wording is drafted, reviewed and approved before it goes live, and is recorded in the change log.
Report a broken link or a problem in the book
A reporting address will be added here.
